Unmatched Draft Rankings
We compile our draft rankings in house everyday from the start of the first pre-season game to the start of the first regular season game and continually update the site when necessary on a minute by minute basis 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We feel our level of draft ranking dedication represents a commitment toward serious drafting that generates unmatched draft ranking results.
Our Draft Rankings are created based off of total yards projected, projected touches/receptions per game and then touchdown’s. We also factor in when creating these projected draft rankings, all the projected 100 yard games or more for every Running Back and Wide receiver. Projected 50 yard games and 70 yard games are factored in for Tight Ends and projected 200, 250 and 300 yard passing games are factored in for Quarterbacks. Kickers are projected based on opportunities and projected distance success (20,30,40 and 50 plus yards) Defense projections are based on special team touchdowns, Interceptions, Sacks, total points against and then total yards against all formulated to create a unique draft ranking cheat sheet you can print out and take to your draft.
The main reason we project our draft rankings based mainly off of who will get the ball more times per game plus a player’s overall total projected yards per game, is that we feel strongly that touchdowns are just a by product of total yards and therefore Touchdown’s are considered (to us) just a random act! Think about it, with so many offensive weapons at each NFL team’s disposal how does any individual player’s touchdowns become predictable or foreseeable without wide degrees of inconstancy. This becomes our basis for leaning heavier on projected total yards per game and projected total touches per game and then touchdowns. Also our draft ranking format works for almost any fantasy football point system that doesn’t deviate extremely far away from the standard fantasy football point system that reward performance and scoring distance bonuses that most league’s incorporate today. We project players who we feel will get the most yards and most touches each week which better positions these players to score more touchdowns more often and again we feel touchdowns are just a by product of total yards and touches per game so without the total yards and touches per game touchdown production goes straight down the tubes for just about every player from our vantage point.
As far as others who profess to customize your draft rankings and weekly rankings based off of individual point systems we feel it’s a mental candy, shotgun approach at best. Why should forecasted player rankings change from owner to owner when yards and touchdowns factor into 99.9% of all scoring systems? Shouldn’t the best players who are forecast to produce the most yards, touches and touchdowns each week be on top of every fantasy football owner’s rankings? Do custom rankings provide an opportunity for fantasy football informational sites to project many different draft rankings for the “look at who we said too draft last year crowd”? Obviously, most sites with custom player rankings permit access to only your custom rankings and nobody else’s so who’s to say what information is spread around inside them. Create enough different player rankings and call it custom you’re bound to get something right in our opinion! That’s why we find it funny when we see fantasy football information sites who customize rankings advertise last year’s draft rankings to promote this year’s site. Was the player ranking they used to promote this year’s site hand selected from a mountain of bad draft rankings that they didn’t want anyone to see? Speculations…Possibly but these are questions serious fantasy football owners should be asking before selecting any fantasy football information service! We wouldn’t dare insult people’s intelligence or experiment with people’s season’s for the sake of self promotion this is why we stand 100% by our draft rankings and display them unrestricted to every entitled member.
